Peter Priesthood

Ok, so we have been keeping a secret. Over the past few weeks, we have had to play dumb, make up stories and even lie a little. Today the secret was revealed in sacrament meeting when Peter (yes, my husband) was sustained in our ward as the new bishop. What an amazing past few weeks we've had... we truly have felt the hand of the Lord in our lives. Peter, I mean Bishop Waldron will be incredible and will be such a great blessing to our ward. I often pat myself on the back for choosing such a fabulous guy :). Here's to the next 5+ years of dedicated service by a truly wonderful man...This photo was taken just a few hours after Peter was called... he was still in shock.

He'll do great and you will be great at supporting him. I'll miss you in YW,though, when you get released. I'm just assuming that's going to happen. What an adventure you two are beginning. :-)

It's funny how people say "Congrats" during a time like this. When Adam was called last July and we were the only people who knew, it was so excrutiating! My sentiments are more like Mindy's, (Holy Crap!)and yes, he DOES look a bit like Tom Cruise!:-) The COOLEST thing about this is that your stake President totally has this right. You and Peter are right for the job Missy. I'm here for ya sister! Just give me a call!

And good luck with the three kids on your own. I'm overwhelmed with just the one on my own! (My husband is in the bishopric.)

You guys can do it! I'm so excited and scared for you! Lots of love going your way! Maybe he could call someone to be the designated 'missi helper' during sacrament meeting. ;)

Hey Missi!
Thanks for the compliment on the picture of my family. And may I just compliment you on being the kind of people who are called to serve as a bishop/bishop's wife. Undoubtedly, you will be amazing!

Heard the news tonight. Not surprized, but wow! I guess that's what he gets for marrying a Hinckley. \"/
