Brainless Bird

Meet Dorkus, the newest Waldron "pet". We seem to be magnets for bizarre animals in our backyard... Dorkus the bird is no exception. Each and EVERY morning, we hear an odd pounding noise in our dining room. We quietly sneak over to see Dorkus, sitting in one of our little trees ramming its head into our dining room window... over, and over, and over, and over, and over again. Super-dumb bird, and yet great entertainment for my kids. They stand as still as they can while laughing their heads off. Let's just hope Dorkus' head doesn't come off. See Dorkus go:

That is so funny...poor bird! The other day Brad walked in the garage to find a baby hummingbird...we thought it was hurt so we brought it in the house to find that it wasn't...It flew all around the kitchen, they boys thought it was hilarious! It was pretty funny to see Brad scaling the walls trying to catch it!

Hey, I was wondering if you could get Dorkus to teach Bagheera how to do the same thing. Just like your children, I would be highly entertained and laugh my head off watching Bagheera keep hitting her head against the patio door. I guess I can only dream:-)

I wonder if Dorkus has taken up residence at your house after leaving ours about 6 months ago. It was ridiculous every day it would be the same unless I closed the blinds. Nice to see that he hasnt learned his lesson yet! He provided us with a whole lot of entertainment as well!

Oh my gosh, that has to be just about the funniest thing I have ever seen!! I love that you named him Dorkus, too. You crack me up, Missi!!
