November 5-
We had a crazy day getting packed for the trip due to Spencer's last minute surgery the day before. We flew from California to Utah with a quick stopover in Arizona where Claire was able to sit in the cockpit and "fly" the plane. Dallin wanted nothing to do with it. We left super-hot California weather and arrived in cold/snowy Utah weather... a nice change. The kids were so excited to see the white stuff on the ground. We met up with Papa, Nana, and both great-grandmas at Arctic Circle for some dinner and it is always exciting to see them. After dinner, we headed to my younger brother Dave's condo in Provo where we stayed throughout our Utah adventure (thanks Dave and Erin).
November 6-
Today was purely "get-ready-for-the-wedding" day. We went last minute shopping, visited my little sister Jen at work (Bare Escentuals counter in Nordstrom) and had lunch in the good ol' University Mall food court. Afterwords, all of the girls went and got manicures (my mom, me, Jen, Erin, and even Claire). We met up with the boys for dinner, fixed some last minute mishaps before the wedding and packed up everything that is required of a family of 5 to actually participate in a wedding (holy cow it's a lot of stuff). Ready for wedding day!
