Bubbles & Bugs

"The aspects of things that are most important for us are hidden because of their simplicity and familiarity."
 -Ludwig Wittgenstein

Our new bubble machine has been a backyard highlight lately.  Pure and simple joy.
A couple weeks ago on a lazy Sunday afternoon, Dallin found a bunch of ladybugs swimming in our fountain (we didn't know they could swim).  The kids scooped them out and played with them for quite a while on our front lawn.  We named the ladybugs, watched them crawl all over each other and our clothes, and eventually watched them all fly away.  Again, pure and simple joy!

Cute pics. I especially love the one of Clair all dolled up and Dallin in torn jeans. So classic. That girl just loves her pretty dresses, doesn't she? :-)

Those days and pictures are the BEST! I love it! I love the picture where claires hair is sweeping across her forehead while she looks down at the ladybug on her dress. The best! Your babies are adorable and I miss them!!

it's been a while since I've been able to visit. Looks like you guys are still doing wonderful. I love the ladybugs. My Raegan has an obsession with them. She would be in pure heaven had she had that many!
