It all started with the show Arrested Development. Peter and I wanted to find something that we could both enjoy and do together. Tennis lessons was our first thought and that didn't work out. We then took ballroom dance classes (we need to do this again Courtneys). We had a great time, but it became hard with Peter working so late. We then had some friends introduce us to this show (thanks Nick and Rach). It is hilarious! Peter would get home late from work, change his clothes and we would have a late night date watching TV. We did this every night until we knew we had seen every episode enough.

Where to go on our next date? THE OFFICE! We can't get enough of this show (darn you writer's strike). We have watched every season numerous times late at night together snuggled up on the couch. My favorite part is hearing Peter laugh uncontrollably. He is a fun date.
Just a couple of nights ago, Peter experienced Guitar Hero for the first time at the Crumps (we have owned it for some time but he has never picked up a guitar). He loves it, s
o we now officially have a new cheap date! We have played for the past couple of nights in the "Face-off" mode and have a hard time dragging ourselves away from the XBOX and into bed. Fancy dinner dates at the wineries and opening nights at the movies have got nothing on our pajama wearin', popcorn snarfing late nights together.

Love the date night ideas! So fun! Especially because I can totally see you both not wanting to go to sleep for "one more game" or "one more episode". Miss you all so much!
How great when you look forward to a night in more than a night out! I completely know the feeling! Love hanging out in my pjs watching any reality show I can get Jake to watch with me.
I am so glad you started a blog!!:)
We LOVE Arrested Development and are forever indebted to it for the gems it has added to our lives. My favorite episode was the one where they highlight the father's disciplining methods "... and that's what happens when you don't leave a note." The break rules = drastic consequence method is totally Josh's mentality (although he can't find anyone who lost an arm to help him out).
Missy!
I'm so glad you've found me. For me, catching up with friends has become the highlight of blogging. Ammon and I are living in Antofagasta, Chile on a 1-2 year assignment with his company(BHP Billiton).
We too LOVE Arrested Development and The Office. I'm also staring to get into Scrubs by watching the reruns(one of the few shows that is in English here).
Anyway, I didn't mean to write a novel, but I look forward to hearing seeing more posts from you and your family!
